I personally do not believe in time out because the child doesn't really know what is going on. As in if you sit the child down and ask if they know why they are sitting down and not playing with other children is better. I think this method is better for classroom and for home because you get to have the child express how they felt and what they can do next time. From personal experience I got put down on time out and that did nothing for me because
